I’m in CAS undecided right now. I’m sort of interested in nutrition, but I’m not totally committed to it. I really have no idea where I want to be but as of now that’s where I’m sort of leaning towards? I was wondering if I should do core curriculum my freshman year and see where I’m at towards the end of the year and then declare a major. Or should I declare a major right now? What happens if I declare nutrition at the end of freshman year? Do I have to do another semester/year at college to fulfill nutrition requirements or something? Also would you recommend the core floor specialty housing?

hahaha i was in the same position as you. i got into cas undecided, and in november of my freshman year i decided to transfer into sargent as a nutritional sciences major. i ended up changing my major again, but as long as you have the minimum gpa to transfer it’s insanely easy. for sargent i think you needed a 2.7 or a 2.8 to do internal transfer. and don’t worry, you don’t have to declare a major until your sophomore year. however, keep in mind that if you want to be in sargent, there’s many requirements you don’t need to fulfill, and others that you do. so language requirements aren’t necessary, but specific ones for math are.
