I am a sophomore in college that lives in rural Kentucky and will receive both my Associates in Arts and Associates and Science this summer. I am transferring back to a four year university this fall, after I transferred from the same university after my freshman semester to attend a community college and save money. I am currently majoring in biology and have been looking at physical therapy, but I am second guessing going to school for 5 more years. I have not really enjoyed my science classes as much as I had anticipated. I have been looking at changing my major and looking at business and finance a lot recently, but I am really unsure. I have a strong passion for sports, especially basketball and I love sports radio but I know that is a uncertain field and there is not a lot of money. I am getting engaged this summer and getting married after I graduate. I want a career field that is capable of supporting my family and giving me time to them.
P.S. I have a 3.9 GPA and have almost my entire Gen Ed requirements complete
I’ve heard accounting is a good area and has a lot more opportunity than finance. Do accountants make good money?
