<p>If I change my major at MyUCR, would that affect my acceptance into the school? I've looked up changing majors at UCR, and it says I have to fill out a petition ... does it apply to me if I'm an incoming fall freshmen?</p>
<p>if you’re a freshman, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to change your major. You should look into changing after you start. I’m a transfer and I changed mine from psychology to neuroscience. I had most of the pre req’s done for both but you should have no problem since you’re a freshman.</p>
<p>I changed my major and I am an in-coming freshman. They tell you within 10 business days if your major has been changed or not.</p>
<p>@CrtlPaste: It won’t affect our acceptances if we change it though right? Or should I send in my SIR first (I was planning on sending in my SIR after I went to Highlander Day)</p>
