Changing My Major

<p>Hi ! I got accepted into NC State with College of Sciences, Undeclared as my major. However, I want to change my major to Accounting. The problem is my parents think that if I change my major, then I don't graduate within 4 years because curricula are different. So my questions are;</p>

<li>Do I still graduate within 4 years even if I change my major?</li>
<li>Can I apply for CODA (Change of Degree Application) in my first year?</li>

<p>if you are an incoming freshman, you should call the office of admissions to see what your options are.</p>

<p>You’ll still be able to graduate in four years with no problem. If you can’t switch into Accounting before you start next semester, you should still be okay since you’ll be taking general courses like basic calculus, english, science and humanities that should apply as electives to an Accounting major.</p>
