Okay so I’ve gotten into my school with a major under Humanities (East Asian Cultures). School has not yet started, obviously, but I am able to change my major online. I was thinking about it and I’m pretty undecided about what I want to do. Would it be a bad idea to change my major to undecided/undeclared?
You don’t have to do it right away. Sleep on it, think about things and wait till you actually get to school to do any major changing. Technically you won’t have to work too hard on your major until second-third year so you’ll have some time once you’re down in the academic advising office to work things out and see if this is what you really want to do.
It’s probably wise to discuss this matter with your academic advisor, during your initial on-campus interview.
