changing my major..?

Im sorta growing tired of being an accounting major, and i'm still doing my prerequisites to get into the college of business @ jmu.
My main intentions was to become an accounting major and minor in CIS. But so far im taking a managerial accounting class and im struggling to maintain a B. Im doing pretty well in my introduction to CIS class (A-)
So do you think i should change to being a CIS major and minor accounting instead? I would say that im pretty much a computer nerd lol.

Has anyone else gone thru my situation?

would appreciate the feedback.

If you like computers then go CIS (also referred to as MIS). The intro to CIS class is probably not a true indicator of one's success in the CIS major though (if it's the one that all business majors take). I recall our first MIS class being a complete joke. In my college, MIS was the most difficult business major. However, if you like computers then give it a shot. I'm assuming that you haven't taken many core courses yet so it shouldn't really matter much at this point. (especially if you intend to get a minor or double-major anyways).

BTW, if you don't really like accounting, you might not want to waste anymore time with it because it won't do any good and could do some harm (ie, you could get accounting job offers, or accounting related IT job offers that you may not like).
