[Room Change Request - Get Housing - My Housing - Rutgers Housing & Residence Life](http://ruoncampus.rutgers.edu/my-housing/get-housing/room-change-request)

The only app is the roommate swap not the room
Change!!!

From the link:

“If you have a problem with your room or your roommate please see your RA/AA or the Hall Director in your hall or apartment area, or speak to someone at your campus Residence Life office (information is below).”

Keep in mind as a freshman you only moved in on Saturday, lots of kids think that they need to party to fit in and they are spreading their wings. After a few weeks, having to come up with the ratio to get into a party, paying to get into a party and the weather tends to curb that initial party animal. You will also find that after the first few football games at home, alot of kids start heading home for the weekends. The dorms can be very quiet and peaceful come mid October and November. There were times that my son (out of state student) was the only one left on the floor. Definitely talk to your RA or Hall Director as rualum suggested.

I just completed roommate swap with someone. How long does it take the housing office to email to confirm it?

How did you find somebody to swap rooms with? My son is in the same position. He’s trying to get on Livingston and out of Busch Campus.

The room change app is not available right now but I really want to swap rooms to livingston with somebody who wants to dorm in college ave!!
