Changing schedule timings?

When I looked at my schedule I found out that my classes were pretty spaced out with two or more hours between them and one part of myscheduleincludes a six hour break in between two classes making me finish the day at night when my first class was 8 in the morning. Is therea ways can change the times of my classes or is the only way is to change classes during the add and drop period?

I’m not sure when Webreg opens for different groups, but if you go to webreg, and try to change something, it will tell you if you can or not.

fishy, I called rutgers about this.

They basically told me all chem and almost all math courses are closed, so you cant move those. they told me to just stick to what I have.

Oh and btw, is 18 credits low for a 1st semester freshman?

I think 15 to 18 credits is very ideal for freshmen… You don’t want to be overwhelmed the 1st semester you are there. You have so much to learn and so much to explore so I would not do any more that 18 credits.

18 credits is not low for any student. 12 credits are required to be full-time, many students take 15 credits, and engineers and pharmacy majors typically take 18 or 19 credits. If you have a lot of AP credits, I would even consider taking 15 credits 1st semester, if you are taking things like calc, expos and a science.

15 is ideal amount of credits, taking 18 credits will just let you take less credits later, but 15 x 2 = 30 credits a year x 4 years = 120 credits which is close avg to what you need to graduate. A lot of students take summer classes so they can take 12 credits a semester when they have to take courses that require more outside class time then other courses will.

You can go on webreg now and change it if you see any open sections. Same thing applies for the add/drop period, I believe. If you’re a Freshman though, there is not much you can do since they made up the schedule for you.
