Changing schedule to more demanding course

do you think its ok to drop cal-studiese, which is a joke class, to enroll in calculusI(community college)??

Do you need cal-studiese to graduate/fulfill A-G requirements? If not, and you're FAIRLY CONFIDENT that you can get a C or better in calculus (you don't want to bite off more than you can chew, lest you get rescinded later on), then it might be worth the hassle.

im alsmost certain that i can get c or above...and i really want to take it during my high school year...so i can take more upper class math...+i wanted to take it at my school but it was not offered this year because not many people signed up.

I don't think you have any problems with this. Check with your school guidance counselor to make sure that you won't be misssing anything in the a-g or graduation requirements for your high school. Make sure to take advantage of tutoring and office hours at the community college to keep your grade up above a D or F.
