i was accepted as arts and sciences class of 2010 and i want to do pre-dental or pre-med requirements but now i think im going to major in accounting or something business related. Do I need to change to olin? If I do how/ when should this be done?

WashU is totally flexible in allowing you to double major in two schools, if you wind up doing that, but I'm also pretty sure you can just declare a major in another school even if it is your only major.

My daughter who is a senior at Wash U switched from Olin to Art Sci after her first semester freshman year. It didn't seem to be a problem.

Remember that whichever school is smallest (Olin in your case) will be counted as your main school if you double major. I don't know if this will be important or not (it might be for graduation requirements) but I remember this being stressed from all the Orientation curriculum talks.....but I would say that transferring between schools is pretty easy. I went from architecture to artsci.....

Oh no, that's terrible. I'm thinking of doing a double major in English and Marketing. However, I want English to be my main thing.

I could be wrong though, or misinterpreting their words to mean something else.....so you might want to check with WashU......for the best info : )
