Changing Schools

Is it possible/easy to change schools at American? I was accepted into Economics through the College of Arts and Sciences but am considering the School of International Service. If I can, I’m assuming that my scholarship monies would come with me, right?

Second, is it possible to dual major across schools at American? I’d really like to major in both Economics and International Studies. Since the BA in International Studies page is “under construction,” I have another question about that: is it possible to choose a concentration in the field? I’d really like to focus on international development.

Bump . . . and grind.

From what I've heard, it's very easy to change majors. If you put undecided, and they put you in a major. Don't worry, you'll get to choose something else. You're scholarship money comes with you no matter what school you choose.

Yes, you can double major and people have done it with the SIS and Kogad business school. To answer your question about specializations, it's already on the website that links to the page under construction.

Pay special attention to the 3rd and 4th paragraph on the page. The information concludes that you do pick a specialization.
