I got accepted but the classes I put on the transcript for senior year changed because I’m doing dual enrollment. Will my admission be rescinded because freshman can’t change senior classes? I just took out Calc 5 so I’m doing 6 years of math instead of 7 and all the rest is the same except for more social science classes. Will this be a problem and would it be bad to commit before I make the change?
What level is Calc 5? AB, BC? If it isn’t AP then how many semesters of math will you have starting with Algebra? Use this sequence, algebra, geometry, algebra II, pre-calc, calculus, additional calculus, did eq.
Calc 5 is multivariable calculus. I will have 12 semester of math instead of 14.
My college is on the quarter system. So a quarter class counts as a year
@eyemgh do you think this will be a problem?
College? Senior year? I’m confused. Are you a transfer?
No I do dual enrollment. It’s a program where high school students take college classes starting their junior year. So I will graduate high school and have my associate’s degree
If you dropped Multivariable, you’ll still have plenty of math that it should not impact your MCA score. I’d still let admissions know. They’ll know soon enough anyway. They pull every enrolling student’s transcript. It’s better for there not to be any surprises. Congrats and enjoy!
