K, I have decided to not take Physics, but Chinese with Listening instead.
I heard that I can just take the Chinese Subject test instead of the Physics one when I get to the test center

Is this true? Would the chinese with Listening be available at my school when I go there at November 6? No one else in my school is taking it. Or do I need to contact Collegeboard/school right now?

Thank you
In addition to Chinese, I am taking Math II + Literature.

when i took the october SAT, they said we could take whichever tests we wanted, no matter what we registered for. the tests all come in one booklet. but i’m not sure if that counts for listening as well, because there was no listening in october and when i signed up for german with listening, it said something like “listening seats available at test center”, so maybe there’s only a limited amount of listening seats at each test center, i dunno.

just contact collegeboard and ask.

You can definitely decide the morning of the test which exact tests to take. It matters not a whit what tests you originally registered for. Of course, you are correct that you are limited to selecting from among the tests that are available at your testing center. You will want to verify with the collegeboard that your testing center will have the Chinese subject test available on the testing date you have registered for.

No. I have the same problem (I want to switch Chemistry with French With Listening). It says clearly somewhere on Collegeboard’s website that you can switch between any 2 subject tests, unless one of them is a Listening language test, because the test center is given the exact amount of CDs needed. You should have switched online before the late deadline (which is 3 weeks or so before the test date).
