is it hard to change schools? Can you even change the school?

you mean, UCSD colleges?

the short answer is yes, but not until you're an enrolled student, and even then it's pretty dang hard to transfer.

read through the archives; there must be at least a hundred other posts on this topic!

Why didn't you pick the right college in the first place? It not hard because all the info is laid out....

i was wondering about the ease of changing colleges too.

not everyone is lucky enough to get their first choice (at least i didnt...)

To change, you need to be at UCSD for at least 2 or 3 quarters (don't remember) first. Then you need to prove that you will be able to graduate at least 2 quarters early if you were to transfer. I'm not sure if the last stipulation is true (another student must be willing to transfer into your college to "balance" out the # of students at each college).

So seeing as how most students graduate in 4 years, you'd have to be able to prove that you can graduate in a little over 3 years. Seems pretty hard to me.
