Essays: i think my common app essay was a solid 7 or an 8 at most but my chapman supplements were pretty great a 9 i would say (unique and showed my personality a lot–I had fun with it and talked about my career goals!)

I also got the presidential scholarship which is $32,000 a year! I’m really surprised b/c the net scholarship calculator said i would probs get 22k! Just be you and have fun with your application because it’ll really pay off at the end–they can tell if you’re not genuine! I was wondering what is the biggest scholarship from Chapman? I saw some people got the presidential but only $30,000 so I’m confused. Please let me know–I’m curious!

I’m not yet sure about going but getting accepted is definitely exciting bc it’s my first acceptance and my city and school is very disadvantaged in US college admissions(it’s much less well known than those major cities so the resources are very restricted. I’ve been basically homeschooled since junior year)(I dont think we have people applying to Chapman till this year). Even if I don’t end up going to Chapman I still really appreciate Chapman’s recognition of who I am.
