<p>augh, i’m trying to resist looking at too much stuff about the school for right now because i don’t want to get excited about it if i don’t get in. film production is so competitive!</p>

<p>mine isn’t uploaded anywhere and i don’t really even have it on my computer or else i would! yeah i wish that too. i honestly do not have film experience, and filmed it all on my phone and i’m quite nervous about it. i have lots of theatre experience though and that’s what sort of made me interested in film. i’m really really nervous for decisions this week!</p>
<p>I don’t post a whole lot around here but I am also waiting on a film production decision. I’m not entirely sure if I want to go into film so I won’t be disappointed if I don’t get in. I am more antsy because Chapman is the first school I will be hearing back from.</p>

<p>The admissions tumblr and twitter both say film production decisions will be rolling out Thursday. There are about 800 applicants about between 75-100 are probably going to be accepted, which gives ~9-13% acceptance rate.</p>

<p>wow, realizing how low the chances are of getting in. guess i’ll just hope for the best. i put TV as my second choice so hopefully they would consider me for that if i get rejected from film.</p>

<p>Wendydarrling, the 75 refers to the number of students that they project will enroll. Dodge accepts more than 75, I would guess 30% more. Here’s what they posted on tumblr today:</p>
<p>Q: Does this mean that PRA is almost filled?! Since you admitted 28 students already and you said that you guys are only looking to admit up to 35 students. I am so extremely nervous because I applied to the major as a regular decision student.

<p>A: No because we always admit a lot more than we need since not everyone who gets accepted ends up coming. The final number is those who actually deposit and enroll.</p>
<p>lah1332 - your stats are fantastic! The business school is very competitive and they do like students to come in with strong math skills. I am thinking maybe your SAT math score was not as strong and they want to verify you’re doing ok in your senior year math class?</p>
<p>It’s definitely worth mentioning that when I toured Dodge earlier in October they had a ~19% acceptance rate. The tumblr numbers are definitely rough numbers. That said Chapman is definitely an increasingly competitive school for film.</p>
