congrats man!

Congrats!

Yeah, it definitely stinks waiting as a dodge applicant!

how do you get your user name and password to check your admission status?

It was on a green sheet that was sent when they mailed a letter saying that my application was received.

Anybody else not receive a login/password for the portal? I submitted my application well before the deadline…

you didn’t get anything in the mail?

Not that I know of…

I didn’t get a login/password in the mail and only received a notice that i had applied :\ seeing people already getting their admissions is making me nervous!!

I’d probably give chapman admissions a call to see why you didn’t receive login information. I think it’s pretty stupid to snail mail important information such as student login information when you could just email it…but yeah just give them a call, maybe it was sent to the wrong address.

@questionmarkk how long did it take you to receive your acceptance packet after your portal changed to decision reached?

I’m still waiting on my results. It’s said decision reached for like 5 days now

Mine has said decision reached since 4/4… I had been emailing back and forth with an admissions counselor and she said it can take up to 7-10 days for you to be notified. So I guess we just keep waiting a little longer! Fingers crossed! Chapman is the only school I’ve applied for!

Hi Lolo123,

Mahmah in a 3/14/13 post provided us the text (shown below in parenthesis) from a Chapman U Admissions’ newsletter. Evidently it takes a week after a decision has been made before the large size envelope or regular size envelope is ready to be mailed. So I guess it takes about 10 days for you to actually receive the decision after it has been made.

“When a decision has been made on your file, the decision status on your WebAdvisor account will most likely change to “Decision Reached.” The decision letter still has to print, be matched up with your file, signed, placed in an envelope, and THEN be prepared for pick up. This whole process of the letter actually getting mailed can take up to a week before it is sent on its merry way to the Post Office. Finally, depending on where you live, the decision will usually arrive within a week of it actually leaving our office.”

“Official admission decisions cannot be revealed over the phone by our office. Official decisions can only come through the mail and are not valid if received by any source (including coaches, academic departments, emails, etc.) other than our office.”

I’m a health science major…still waiting for the decision…the sent me email and said the notification should be started since mid April!!

hey! i got my decision yesterday… accepted! anyone else?

Congrats! What is your major?

Hey everyone, I could really do with some advice. I’ve been accepted to one of the other colleges I applied to, and they want a decision by May 1st. (@Schroeds you mentioned this too; maybe you know something about this?) But Dodge is top of my list, and it sounds like Dodge applicants won’t hear back until after that time.

Sooo, do you think I should just hope I find out earlier than May 1st, or do you think I should see if I can postpone the other school’s deadline? (I’ve heard it’s sometimes possible but very unprofessional) Any ideas?

Also @heyheyhey1, the same thing happened to me with not getting the account information. It never came in the mail, so I ended up calling admissions. They sent me over to their IT department, and they were super helpful.

Psychology and hopefully a minor in women’s studies. What about you guys?

@tinydancer224444 what was your GPA?

@lolo123 3.8 when they got my grades
