Hey, does anyone know when financial aid packages arrive or become viewable on WebAdvisor? Right now, WebAdvisor only sees me as a prospective student still. :(

@RandomNewGuy

From what I understand (by snooping around last year’s thread) sometimes financial aid pops up even before you receive the letter. So, I think that would be a topic worth a call to Chapman’s Financial Aid office so they can expedite things in your case since you are already in Good luck - I hope they are generous!

I ultimately found out i was accepted through receiving my financial aid award letter online while my admission status was still on Decision Reached. So it’s a good sign if you can pull up the award!

Congrats to everyone recently admitted! I’m still Decision Pending…which is to be expected, I read that you can’t expect a decision from Dodge until 8 weeks after the deadline. Still though, time is going by soooo slowlyyyy.

Congratulation guys, mine in pending as of 04/04/13 … I’m so nervous, hope I fine that mail sooooon. BTW, who’s also transfer as an undergraduate business student?

I’m a business major!

@smalone3d

I applied to Dodge as well…I feel your pain
Post as soon as there is a change in your status! I will do the same.
Good Luck!

@khalidAA I’m a business major (accounting) and mine is still pending too, as of 4/8. I have no clue when we will hear back, hopefully soon.

@alaintran9 and @heyheyhey1 I know how u r guys feeling right now … hopefully we meet each other in the same campus and same college soon … BTW i’m (International Business)

Have you guys not heard back yet? I received my an acceptance letter around April 15th.

@alain Congrats! I haven’t, I had to send in my midterm report so it really delayed me. I really want to go there.

I think I have the grades, but I’m not completely confident.

What are your stats?

@alain i haven’t heard back yet, dodge college (film school) applicants won’t probably hear back until mid-may at the earliest, as far as I know anyway.

3.6 - 91 completed units by the end of this semester. I never pass/no pass on any of my classes so it could have been higher.

Having a great deal of difficulty with Chapman after receiving my acceptance letter. Combined with a pretty awful transcript evaluation from the registrar’s office (no offense Chapman, but I’m not going to repeat basic gen ed requirements for $21k a semester), I’m about to cross Chapman off my consideration list. Too bad, I really thought it might be a good fit.

@RandomNewGuy They did not transfer many of your GE’s over? How much FA did you receive?

I don’t have a Financial Aid package, because of some odd administrative hiccup - that was basically explained to me as the Financial Aid office unable to see any credits transferred in (to be fair, I am a very unorthodox case, so my case file is odd). When I contacted the registrar’s office, I discovered that was not the case, but the data is not being properly communicated or what have you. So, outside of the trustees scholarship, I have no clue.

They took 30 of my GEs, out of almost 70, which is pretty darn low when compared to evaluations that I have received from other California-based institutions. They want me to repeat science and a few other subjects. The price tag at Chapman is just too high to add another semester-and-a-half to the bill. My community college has a pretty awesome track record as well, so it’s not like I’m transferring in units from ITT or something.

It’s a little infuriating, to be honest.

@alaintran9 Congrats, I haven’t yet … still pending :(

@RandomNewGuy

How exactly do you find out what transfers and what doesn’t? Do you need to call and ask or is there a place to look in WebAdvisor? I still haven’t heard from them at all yet, but now you have me curious and worried about the schools I have been accepted to thus far. Wow. What an awful situation. I completely agree with you about extra semesters at such a high price ESPECIALLY when they are repeats for you!

Here is the link to find out about Approved Transfer Courses:

[Chapman University Approved Transfer Courses Overview | Chapman University](<a href=“Page Not Found | Chapman University”>Chapman University (redirect))

"A list of College-level coursework completed at other institutions and evaluated for transferability to Chapman University is available on WebAdvisor. The list generated under each institution includes all courses evaluated for transferability either for general credit, or for direct equivalency to specific Chapman courses.

To view approved transfer courses by institution, students and guests may login to WebAdvisor and use the Search by Institution tool to generate a list of approved transfer courses from the selected institution."
