I’ve been accepted to both this week.
Chapman for Political Science and LMU for International Relations.
There are hundreds of forums on this question but never a straight answer… so people, please discuss, debate… anything!! Just help me make a decision.
P.S: If anyone knows which school is better with providing their students with financial aid, please tell me!!
If you do, you will find that both schools are pretty similar, on average, in terms of net cost and debt. LMU students appear to do slightly better in terms of post-graduation salaries and in terms of paying down their debt.
Overall, I don’t think there are any huge differences in cost or academic reputation between these two schools. Go to LMU if you want to be in LA, hang out in Santa Monica, or want a Catholic environment. Go to Chapman if you prefer Orange County and want to be near Disneyland.
