Hey! I recently got into two fairly good film schools for animation and need help deciding on where to go. The two schools are Chapman and Loyola Marymount. I know these schools are better known for their film production classes which is why I am having trouble learning more about their animation programs from outside sources. If you have any insight I’d love to hear! Thanks for your time!
A few years ago my son was admitted to both, for film production. We toured both, but Chapman offered him WAYYYYYYY more scholarship money. It wasn’t even close. After being at Chapman for two years (he was a transfer student), I can tell you he LOVES it. The Dodge students all work together on so many films/projects. Tour both, get a feel for what you like, but also consider the financial part…it could make a big difference. Congrats to you!!!
@CSUdream Thank you for your input! I recently received a scholarship in my financial aid package from Chapman and I must agree it really is a big help! So far nothing from LMU yet and financial aid really is the final say in this haha. But thanks again for the reply! Very much appreciated!
I just talked to the LMU admissions office, and they said financial aid packages will be mailed within 2-3 weeks from today, and will be posted to the portal shortly after that.
@WestOfPCH Woah, it’s going to be tough waiting that long haha, thanks for the information though!
