I saw there wasn’t thread for prospective transfers yet so I thought I’d make one. Now begins the long wait to hear back…what did everyone apply for?

Business Administration
GPA: 3.57
Good letter of recommendation and good personal statement but I really think I did poorly on the supplemental questions. I’m hoping that doesn’t affect me too much!
Applied around the beginning of February
News and Documentary (1st choice), or English with an emphasis in Journalism (2nd choice)
GPA: 3.85
Got a letter of recommendation from my journalism professor and had another professor fill out the academic evaluation. I think my personal statement and supplemental questions were pretty solid, and I feel confident about my essays for the departmental questions for Dodge. However, admission is super competitive, especially for Dodge, so I’m hoping it all works out!

I applied to Dodge for screenwriting on Feb 15th and from looking at last year’s thread it looks like a lot of the Dodge decisions came in May. Anyone else apply to Dodge?
I also applied to Dodge, for PR & Advertising. I submitted around Feb 1st. I’m hoping to find out the decision toward the end of April!

I’m so excited!! I wasn’t expecting to hear back this early since I only have Fall Semester 2016 on my transcript
@happychick1 i got an interview. i had it last thursday (4/06)
@filmmaker101 Did they tell you when you would get a decision by?
@happychick1 no they did not, i hope it’ll be out by next or next next week. monday was the last day for those offered an interview to have one, so i’m assuming they’re wrapping up with the film production applications
If I don’t get into Chapman, my plan is to stay at my current community college for next semester. My current CC has Fall 2017 class registration on April 25th and to make sure classes don’t fill up I need to sign up for classes on that date.
Are any of you in the situation? Are you gonna wait till you hear back from Chapman or sign up for classes at your CC and cancel them if you get accepted?
