Decision Mailed today!!! so excited

Just fyi last year when i applied MOST, not all, but most people’s status that changed to Decision Mailed were wait-listed or denied. and people who were accepted got Decision Approved.

They changed it this year (2011 entry), there is no Decision Approved anymore. You can only find out if your accepted or denied through the mail, so Decision Mailed could mean anything.

at moniso

yea the counselor told me it was a good thing that I didn’t apply because I would of been automatically rejected. that’s why the counselor told me to apply either into their film studies, creative producing or screenwriting programs. I don’t want to be bearer of bad news, but I’m just saying what the counselor told me.

yankeesgirl hope it’s an acceptance letter! wish you the best :D

just a heads up…I talked with the people in admissions today and they said it can take up to 2 weeks for your decision to arrive in the mail, which is super annoying.

@summersunshine Oh man that sucks. I hope that is just an extreme and that it will only be a few days. did they say that when it says decision mailed that that means it was send to the post office or whatever? And let us know when you get your. goodluck!

@03ulima thankss!

Yankee … Good luck … Tell us when you get it …

Ulima… Well luckily I applied to creative production as a second choice !!!

Hope we all get good news

Obviously, that 2 week estimate after your status says “decision mailed” is a conservative estimate. 3 days after my status changed I got my ACCEPTANCE!!! =]

Good luck to everyone else!

yayaayyay congrats summersunshine!! ahh i hope i get mine in the mail tomorrow!

@ moniso then let’s wish for the best and we get to see each other at chapman or SCA :D

@ulima yeeeah!!! See you there !!! we will get in!!!

nothing in the mail today wahhhhh

@moniso That’s the spirit! We will get in there! Someway, somehow, but we will :D

@yankeesgirl Don’t worry about it. You will know by next of week. Like always wish you the best. :D

@yankeesgirl Same here! I was hoping it would be today

ughhh nothing todayyy either my mom said it came but she lied.
rude. and i go back to school tomorrow so i won’t get to open it when it comes :(

I was told this on Dodge’s Decision Update blog:

“Decisions will start going out for transfers in the next few weeks. We are working to review applications as quickly as we can! As far as sending out decisions, that is all handled by the Admissions Office, so you will need to speak with them about how they send international letters. There are limited spots open for Film Production, but its hard to say how many at this point. We are still working on figuring out how many spots we really have. We have received a lot of applications this year so it will be competitive for all majors over all! We do not offer that many second choice options, but there is a chance you could be offered one. You will be contacted by me if you are offered a second choice.”

I’m guessing that just after the freshman enrollment deadline passes (may the 1st), they will finally have an idea of how many spaces are left for transfers. At least I’m thinking this may be Dodge’s case…

still nothing for me. i’m halfway at the two week estimate. wahhhh why can’t it just be here alreadyyy! i only live in new jersey bahaa
