Chapman Transfers for fall 2011

I completely agree with you ulima… I understand that freshman have priority, but it is kind of sad that they leave no spaces for transfers :frowning: … I still have no answer… now I’m just kind of sad/mad … I really like Chapman, but I already committed to the USC… problem is I have to start all the student visa process, and if I don’t get an answer from Chapman soon, I will have to take USC… I knooooow it is great and I kind of love it … =) so if things don’t work out with Champan I would still be happy… but, I WANT AN ANSWER :(

Call the admissions office, if you were admitted you can convince them to tell you over the phone. That’s what I did.

@moniso well you’ll have sc at least. We’ll see each other over there since I’m minoring in cinematic arts and I’m still able to take some of the production courses. Which are plenty  So Chapman’s loss sc’s gain.

sooo!!! I was accepted!!! but to my second choice: creative producing… from now on, I’m officially a TROJAN  will be going to chapman for a master’s degree (I hope) … it’s been a pleasure and I’m so happy that the wait is finally over! :D

Congratulations, moniso!!
My decision was mailed yesterday, but I don’t have the guts to call and find out. I’d rather wait for it…I’m nervous xS

good luck christian =) !!! post the news when ever you know

After waiting about a week for my letter, I called admissions up to see what was up. They told me that it usually takes 5 business days for it to arrive - for me that should have been on Monday - but they said that it was most likely delayed for some reason or other (something like they are very busy sending out other stuff or something) and that it would probably be here next week. I also told her how I had also checked my awards and it turns out that they had given me one. So, I asked her if that means I got in or not, and she chuckled and said “that’s usually a good sign, but I’m not allowed to say anything over the phone”… so that means I got in cause they are giving me money, right? or no and I’m just getting my hopes up for nothing -_-

Yes. That means you’re in otherwise they won’t be giving you an award. Congrats!

Yes! I got my acceptance letter!
Thanks OCELITE :)

Does chapman take late admissions applications?

According to the admission page, applications for late consideration are reviewed on a space available basis only. [Chapman University - Admission - Deadlines](<a href=“Page Not Found | Chapman University”>Page Not Found | Chapman University)

Hello everyone,

Fall semester is about to start, but I just wanted to say that it is still possible to be accepted. I applied late July and just heard my acceptance on Thursday. I had a 4.0 and was pretty involved with my CC.

It was a huge relief to be accepted and especially to be offered a scholarship.

Don’t give up and if you are thinking about applying then APPLY! You don’t want to sit and wonder “What if?”

Good luck to those who are applying for fall still and for those that have been accepted, see you there ;)

JDS

Congratulations JDS! Welcome to the Chapman family!
