Thanks, I will. She is floating two feet above the ground. They put together a very nice acceptance package. Very impressive, including the page with the school name and logo on top, and the student’s name below (almost like a diploma). My son graduated from USC, and i don’t recall the package from USC being as impressive as the Chapman package. Very good luck to all of you.

I just got my acceptance letter in the mail. It’s so nice to finally hear.

I applied for the BA Theatre major, and I got the presidential scholarship.

I hope everything turns out well for others.

they also say that after the page says “decision mailed,” it could take up to 7 days for the letter to actually get to the mailbox.

my status was simply, decision mailed.

Congratulations on your acceptance and scholarship offer, Courtney! How long did your package take to reach you since your status changed to “Decision Mailed”?

Congratulations! That’s awesome!

I have the same question as bigmamabear, actually…

Hey Courtney, I’m a BA in Theatre as well.
Were Talent Scholarships supposed to be released now or do we not hear about those until March? I’m getting conflicting answers and I have yet to hear back from the theatre department itself.

My daughter’s status changed to “Admission Approved” on Jan. 6, then it changed to “Decision Mailed” on the 13th. She received her packet on the 21st (it was postmarked the 18th). Hope that helps.

My webadvisor says decision mailed as of yesterday! sounds like it takes a week to finally get in! can’t wait to finally see if i got in!

oh and congrats to people who are accepted!! ppl with scholarships, have you filled out your fafsa yet?

Still “Decision Pending” as of 9:30 this morning in Hawaii…

Wow, that is awesome news to hear so many of you have made it in! Congratulations! And best of luck on your decision.

My status changed to decision mailed on a Wednesday, and I received my letter the following Tuesday after MLK day.

And for the fafsa question…I’m filing it late this week but it was not filed at the time I received the scholarship.
Does Chapman hand out need based grants if you already have a scholarship?

@kllydtn
I don’t think Chapman hands out grants if you already have a scholarship but I may be wrong…

I’m still waiting as well. My status has been “decision pending” since 12/09/10. I really hope I get in, I visited Chapman last spring and it was amazing. Is it probably rejection/ deferral if I haven’t heard back yet? Has anyone recently (not the very 1st batch of decisions, but after that) been accepted?

I got in! :)

My mom just texted me, and I have practice in a few minutes, but I’ll post stats and stuff when I get home.

Congrats JLR123!
It seems like a lot of people on CC are getting admitted

@kllydntn, Yes. I believe Chapman does give out need based grants as well. You will need to file for fafsa.

@mere24 Yeah, CC must be a good luck charm :)

If anyone was wondering, my status was listed as ‘Decision Mailed’ on the 13th and the envelope was postmarked the 21st of January. I live in Chicago, so anyone else who doesn’t live in Cali may have hope to get their decisions soon.

I live an hour from chapman and my status said “decision mailed” as of 1/18. I have a feeling I will get it tomorrow…hopefully.

Those who got scholarships, do you know if your letters took awhile for that reason? that they were putting together scholarship money for you?
