Chapman University offers both Early Decision and Early Action for freshman admissions.

The Fall 2022 admission Early Decision (ED) deadline for Chapman University is November 20.

All ED1 applications should receive an admissions decision by December 20. Last year, Chapman University admitted 122 of the 208 applicants who applied early decision. The acceptance rate was 58.65%.

The Early Action (EA) deadline for Fall 2022 admission at Chapman University is November 1.

our daughter is applying to the screen acting program which I think is dodge if I’m not mistaken

My daughter applied EA, but she applied for Communications. We’re OOS

My daughter is also EA for theatre or screen acting.

I believe it’s a Dodge Program that’s on the Chapman Campus! (not the Dodge Campus)

Anyone else’s student applied ED and now having second thoughts due to cost?

If this is concerning you, I would think your student could request to be considered for Early Action instead of early decision. I would have your student reach out to their admissions rep or discuss with HS guidance counselor. I can’t speak to Chapman’s aid, but it is a valid concern and one you should not have second thoughts about. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

So admissions person on Insta story tonight said ED for film production isn’t until mid-Feb? I was thinking ED for film production was next week and EA for film production was mid-Feb? Does anyone know?

We thought the same. I think my daughter will email her AO this afternoon. If so, I’ll let you know what the reply says.

I just listened to Garrett’s Guide on Instagram again. He’s an admissions officer. He said mid Dec. for ED film production and early Feb for EA film.

The AO emailed back that it will be mid-December for ED film production decisions.

guys im so nervous! applied early action for integrated educational studies. what day do you think decisions will come out? it was the 16th last year. chapman is my first choice, so fingers crossed!

Heard from a coach that they should be releasing early action decisions midweek.

Just saw a “Garrett’s Guide” on a Chapman Instagram story with a countdown clock to this Thursday 12/16 at 7pm ET. I B wonder if this could be EA/ ED admissions decisions?

I think I read it wrong - countdown is for Wednesday at 7pm ET… but maybe it’s a countdown to be an announcement of when admissions will be released…
