Chapman University Housing, Thoughts?

I am heavily considering attending Chapman in the fall! I was wondering if any current or previous students had opinions (good or bad) on Chapman’s dorms, campus, living experience, etc. that they would feel are helpful to share.

I believe @TimTheEnchanter has a child there and he may still frequent the boards.

Son went to Chapman and graduated about 2 years ago. He loved Chapman. Dorms are nice, and bigger than most. Food was excellent. Very clean, safe campus that is small and easy to get around. No parking issues. If you have specific questions just let me know.

@Overthinker22 thanks so much for the information! I am visiting myself in about two weeks and am really looking forward to it! Because of Chapman’s generosity in scholarships/financial aid and their campus which appears very beautiful I am definitely already leaning in that direction and am just wanting to hear some perspectives. Very happy to hear that your son enjoyed it so much, and I hope I do, too, if that is where I end up going!

D is finishing up her freshman year there now. She is in Henley Hall (business majors) in a triple, though is hoping to be in Chapman Grand (new acquisition for next year) in the fall. Rooms are pretty good size and the campus is beautiful. She has thoroughly enjoyed her experience and is tentatively on track to graduate in 3 years. She does not have her own vehicle, but between uber and friends, she has not had any issues getting anywhere she needs to go. She did drop down to the lowest meal plan as she rarely had time for breakfast, but it’s fairly easy to change plans when you see what your eating habits are. Take advantage of the visit and don’t hesitate to ask questions.
