Character/Personal Qualities vs Particular Talent/Ability: Implication for CommonApp?

So I was browsing Collegedata and I saw that most of my high reach schools only 'consider' Character/Personal Qualities while placing high emphasis on Particular Talent/Ability.

Does this mean that I should change my Common App into something that is more reflective of particular skill (e.g. Math or something)?

I was taught to write an essay that reflects personal voice and good character. It does not reflect as much intellect as I would like...

Or am I misinterpreting what Particular Talent/Ability and Character Qualities are? Is Character Quality more so related to what comes across in recommendations??

After all, Essays are ranked IMPORTANT as well so I guess a good essay is a good essay regardless of what it describes.

2) Level of Applicant's Interest -- this is a different matter to how much 'interest' you show in your supplement essays right? If I am correct this is referring to stuff like University visits etc. right???

You are misinterpreting. Talent/ability would be for an orchestra or football team.

I see! Thank you very much
