Do colleges look at you differently based on what type of school you go too, like a charter school?

That question depends on many factors. I am currently a junior at a public school. My freshman and sophomore years were spent in a charter school that wasn’t registered into the Hillsborough school system. If I had ended up graduating from that school, the low profile would not have looked too good.

If your school is registered with with the county and can distribute its on AP Test (Mine had to go to another school) then there will be no difference between public and charter when colleges look at you.

They look at your accomplishments in the context of what opportunities were available to you, but you’re not given any special benefit in admissions just by virtue of coming from a certain kind of school. (Most public school kids had no choice.)
