Che 131

Who is a good teacher. From what I gather by doing a class search is Wolfskill presides over every single class. I have not read too many pleasant things about him on rateyourprofessor.com. Has anyone had him and give me feedback on him. Is it better to have him or someone from Staff for your recesitation? Were his exams hard or straightforward? Were you allowed to use the periodic table for exams or did you need to memorize that along with the formulas needed?

ratemyprofessors.com, it doesn't lie, trust me.

You know? I'm always wary of those sites, because you're talking about a veeeeeery small sample size on those comments. But most of the reviews I've seen of faculty members who I know personally are actually dead-on.

take some advice from someone who just finished their freshman year and took chemistry... it does not matter what the teacher of huge classes like CHE 131 is like because the tests are so standard that the lecture is barely even necessary

I heard from previous students at orientation that the class is really hard? Is this true? Also, what's the exam format and are students allowed to use calculators on every section? Partial credit is given, correct?

What about labs. How hard are they? Are the lab quizzes hard?
