I was just wondering where can I get cheaper used books from? I know that the university book store offers used books but just thought getting used books from amazon might be cheaper. What do you guys suggest? Some of the books that I require have custom written next to it, does this mean I can only get it from the book store?</p>

<p>Custom is just a portion of the full textbook catered to UW classes. So, the 142 Custom book contains like 4 or 5 chapters from the full textbook for the class and includes problems and solutions which your teacher may assign for additional practice. I bought the full problem and found no problems with using it for the course.</p>
<p>They also have a UW textbook Facebook group that students use. You can probably find the english 111 textbook pretty cheap there.</p>
