<p>My son and his uncle are visiting Dartmouth the Friday before Thanksgiving. Any advice on a cheap but nice place for them to stay in the area? My son flies into Manchester, NH, so it could be anywhere on the road between Manchester and Hanover.</p>

the cluster of hotels in white river junction vermont is the best option
5-6 miles away ..and very easy commute
and about 100/ night per room<br>
check out holiday inn express or comfort suites both only 1 year old so
nice and clean...there are more motels that may be older and less expensive</p>
<p>There is a hotel called airport express inn located about 5 miles from campus in lebanon and right near food/ shopping etc. Its cheap and the service is amazing, its name belies its quality.</p>
<p>I agree with Isaac, stay in one of the hotels in white river junction (comofrt Inn, comfort inn suites, BW at the junction). They are right off 91 exit 11, Dartmouth is at exit 13 literally 5 minutes away. They are fairly inexpensive, all are clean, the comfort inns offer continental breakfast. You can even compare prices between the hotel website and expedia to get the best deal. Book now.</p>

<p>we stayed at the marriott residence inn this summer. nice accommodations. pretty reasonable price--i think it included a sandwich (light dinner) buffet and a full breakfast buffet.</p>
<p>our daughter is an 09 at dartmouth so we have only stayed overnight in hanover 3 or 4 times but we have found the hampton inn and suites in white river jct. to be clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.</p>
<p>The hotels in White River are very acceptable, as others have said. THere is both a COmfort Inn and a Comfort Suites. The Comfort Inn, is a little older, on the less attractive side of the highway than the others, but is cheaper, clean and the sightseeing balloon lands in the parking lot - which was fun to watch.</p>
<p>I think you'll like Airport Express the best, its half the price of the others, nicer, and better located.</p>
