Does any one know any universities not community colleges that charge in state tution fees for out of state students for summer.

I know Oregon state and most UC schools does. I'm looking for something that's not on the west coast or deep in south.

I know UNH summer tuition is about $25 more per credit for out of state. I’m sure there are some others too, google away. haha.

what’s wrong with community college? I’m taking summer classes there and you’ll save a lot of money.

From what I’ve seen, the schools that don’t charge OOS fees or at least few OOS fees in the summer are on the West Coast. I know off hand that some Washington and Nevada schools fit this bill, as do some in Oklahoma. Otherwise, many schools do not charge OOS rates for distance learning courses or summer study abroad sessions.

Why don’t you want to attend a summer session at a school the West Coast or in the South? There are some great schools throughout each region.

I’m at chicago and ideally I’m looking something closer since it would be too much moving to west coast just to take few classes. I know many schools have open admission policy for the summer. i’m looking to take couple of math classes and I’m trying to figure out which ones is affordable i.e. below $300 credit

Are you a resident of Illinois? UIUC is $1,068 for 5 credits (~200/credit)

I’m not an Illinois resident.
