ok ppl, i've reached a point where i rather go to any school in the states than to stay in my country... i've applied to several universities already, but i'm looking for some safeties where I'm sure i'll get some financial aid. For example, Grand Valley State University automatically gives international students $9000 if their gpa is atleast 3.5. University of Central Arkansas is also known for giving a lof ot money to internationals. I know these aren't what we know as COMPETITIVE, buttttt given the fact that i do not wish to stay here i need to find a way out... do any of u know any other universities where getting financial aid is not very hard for internationals??

Many of the Ivies will provide full financial aid to anybody, regardless of nationality, as long as they are below a certain income threshold. For example, I believe it is now official Harvard policy to give full rides to anybody whose family makes less than 40k a year. I believe Yale's free-ride cutoff is 45k.

And then there are specialized schools like Cooper Union that are zero tuition to anybody, regardless of how much your family makes or your nationality. You still have to pay room+board though.

and its mad hard to get into

The tuition for internationals at Canadian universities is generally lower than US state schools. See McGill, UToronto, UBritish Columbia, Western Ontario, Waterloo, etc.
