Where can I get information to rent an apartment near De Anza College?
How much does it usually cost to rent a room there?

Craigslist.
Since its SF Bay area, it should only be about $2000 a month for a studio.
Good luck.

Thank you.
But I still can't find enough choices, only 4.
Is there anywehre else where I can get the housing information?

Have you checked the schools website? Googled?

The area around De Anza College, Cupertino, is not very known to be cheap or affordable. Typical 2 bedroom apartments within walking distance (15-25min walking) run about 1200-1500 dollars a month. If you're already in the area, try to go look around at the apartments as they usually don't post them on craigslist if they have openings.

I see. Do they usually have "Leasing Office" or something similar to that?

I checked it on school website, but there aren't too many choices, either.

I don't know that area, but I think this is sort of universal. Most places do have a leasing office that you can talk to. Otherwise, they would have a hard time leasing stuff.

You should be able to find an online listing of the apartments around there. Then you can call and talk to them about how much rent is and all that jazz. There are also sometimes forums that are made for a certain state/city that could probably help you much more than we could.

Since you didn't say you had googled:
Google "apartments" and there are a bunch of apartment-finding websites. They're worth a try.

TA DA! That was easy, wasn't it?

OKgirl: I just kinda figured s/he could do that for him/herself.

Come on, not every one is capable of thinking/acting for themselves. lol

I still can't believe how much more Cali costs than here. Here, you can get a pretty nice (well as nice as an apartment can be) 2 bedroom for $800.

I guess in Cupertino should be around 1500

"TA DA" is really helpful. Thanks a lot. :P
