...What?

It's a change of pace from the chance threads, ain't it? Meals are expensive and while I have no problem paying 8-15$ for a meal salad should, in my mind, be cheaper.

For those in the know, between Lerner, Milano's Westside, etc. what is the cheapest salad (with an avg quantity of topings and some meat) available?

the cheapest salad for unlimited toppings is - nussbaum.
best salad if you don’t ask for the kitchen sink - subsconcious.
best salad when you are in a rush - hamdel.
best gourmet salad - between Milano’s and Westside
best salad with points - nussbaum (yeah unless you really want 212, they don’t have the topping variety).

i would say however, best premade salads at best price are ferris booth. and if you have heard lionheaded, talk is about making ferris into a second dining hall with meals you can deduct like john jay.

Cheapest salad: walk up to fairway once a week and buy the ingredients you want. Guarantee you’ll be able to get all the things you need for ~10-15$. Once a week.

Nah, groceries and cooking really isn’t worth it for me. No time or patience for it during the school year.

Well I’ve found that Nussbaum’s is like a buck ($7) cheaper but Westside’s is much fresher and gourmet ($8). Next up, Milano’s.

Starbucks has salads that are about 6 bucks. I don’t know how much you eat so I can’t really say if it has a good amount of toppings or not, but they aren’t bad.

You asked for the cheapest salad, not the cheapest premade salad. Also, there will come a time at which you realize eating out for every meal is not sustainable, so you can just file my info somewhere for later use ;)
