no one is even arguing about the OP lol. we know he's going to be rescinded if CB sends a blacklist to every college, otherwise he won't, unless that phone message is taken seriously. so since no one really has any experience with cheating on APs here and how CB deals with it, we just have to wait, although some posters have already given grim stories about their friends.

this thread has like 5 pgs of offtopic stuff...

get a lawyer.. you have a fair case because it is probably 50% the schools fault if it is said that they administered the test wrong. Adults are responsible for minors actions... bottom line is- if the test was proctored correctly there would have been no cell phones in the room and you would have been incappable of cheating. the school started it.

did u admit to it because they had evidence? if they have no evidence you were forced to admit to it under disstress, you are technically a minor even if you are 18 because you are enrolled in HS and with HS issues you are considered a minor. are your parents involved? they should be because you should not have been forced to admit to it without a parent present and anything you state/sign without a parent present might be void. If you wana get technical you have a case- it sounds like you are taking a lot from something the school messed up on...you got scared admitted to it off the bat, and contacted upenn- you cant just let this happen when its not 100 percent your fault- its a life changing incident and cant be taken lightly. i would do something about it and i think the next step is legal counceling...

best of luck and i do not believe you should be entirely at fault by any means

sue the school? the OP admitted it was his or her fault for helping a friend cheat. if the op sues the school then the counselor can personally contact the school asking to be anonymous and say this student has no academic integrity or morale at all. then penn can make up a bs reason as to why they had the OP rescinded.

this is just my opinion, but the fact that he was giving information to others is much better than if, say, he was the one asking for information.

not that either of them are right, cause they're both cheating. but maybe colleges will be kinder to him if they know that.

To let you know, galoisien is a big troll from what is given about him(or he lied about his background), if you can't figure out why after looking at his previous posts(I am sure they tell a different story) your internet knowledge is very low.
