I'm told that once you submit your uncommon app, you'll see a check credentials option when you log in. Alas, I submitted my app, and I do not see this option. What gives?

Read the blog on the admissions website. They are not going to enable that feature until they're sure they have everything logged in. Which will take quite a while.

does that mean every credential from every student? or just the applicant personally. because whoa.. that sounds that like would NEVER happen.

what about EA? That doesn't make sense to me.

We were told by an admissions officer that they would let us know after November 1st (for EA purposes) if anything was missing. I believe that this is when they enable the "Check Credentials" feature. They have probably learned from experience that it is more efficient to do it this way.

Oh, okay. Thanks, all.

Now is not the time to start worrying about checking credentials. You may be done with your portion, but your teachers, gc's, etc. still have to get their acts together. Also, the office is being flooded with about 5,000 pieces of mail. It will take a while before they set up a database.
