http://client.webshots.com/photo/231107905/231108096xlkSlD

Ohhhhh.... I was going to rub it before my interview, and then I forgot. Hope that's not a bad sign.

i didn't either... oh well :)

I remember that! Our tour guide asked if anyone wanted to rub the statue for luck, and no one wanted to be the first. After an awkward silence, I stepped forward. :)

As I said a while back...i made out with the fu cking foot - just for some extra luck. :)

hahah. i have a great picture i took right after my interview on october 21st. the picture is right in front of the women's table, which, for those of you who don't know, is a slab of marble enscribed with the numbers of men and women enrolled at yale from 1703 to present. it's also in front of the main library, sterling.

anyway!

the point is, the tree is red and beautiful, and so is yale. here's a link to my livejournal where the picture is posted at the bottom of the most recent post.

As long as we're sharing, my webshots from my college visits last year:

Yale starts with the Silliman pic:

Looking at those pictures reminds of why I want to go to Yale so badly.

haha the funny thing is I've been to Princeton so many times that I know the names of many of those buildings. But I love Yale so much!! ahhhh

LOL Llamapyjamas, I like the line about the cute Serbian-born London-education tour guide. ;)

thank you for reminding me of the foot!! The memory should come in handy about now.

Ah yes. My friend at Yale temporarily let me into his facebook account so I could browse, and I found the cute tour guide in it. Totally having fun and wasting time right now.

Ahh, pictures. I took waaaay too many at Yale this summer. I have one looking toward Sterling Memorial from far away, with golden light dripping through the trees...gorgeous...

And I have a Yale picture on my background for good luck. As for interview luck, I took the cool navy Yale folder with gold lettering and a campus map on it to my interviews (yes, both of them - I hope my interviewers liked it...).

llamapyjamas, I love you. You took a picture of a building at Georgetown that was designed by my favorite architect!!!!

Haha, random outburst of love. We should all do this during these last few days. Now, having made myself look very odd, I realize that it is nearing 2 AM and I need sleep to function...

DON'T TOUCH THE FOOT!!
Students pee on the foot - same thing at Harvard. Ew!
