<p>Hello I was recently admitted to U of I but my residence status mistakenly showed up as non-resident in my notice of admission. When I e-mailed them about this, they told me they have changed my status to resident (in-state), and that I could check online. When I did go online to check, however, the "residence status row" of my application disappeared and now I honestly don't know how to check my residence status. Does anyone know how to? Thanks</p>
<p>Going blank is a sure-fire indication that whatever was there before has been changed. However, I am not sure how long ago all this happened but it should reappear again with the correct information after a few days of the change (never assume anything the university does on-line will be done instantaneously) and if it does not in a few days, call and ask.</p>
