I would appreciate hearing from you if you think this I can get into FSU.

SAT Math-510, CR 580, Writing 580
GPA-W 3.99
GPA- U 3.53
Good ECs
Awards in visual arts and graphic design
Captain on Varsity and club sports teams, played 4 years
F/T job last 2 summers
Work 20-hours per week senior year
In-state
Both parents FSU graduates

I missed the November date for applications so I have to wait until March to find out. I visited during spring break this year and was told they would be admitting 900 fewer freshmen because of massive budget cuts so I'm really nervous.

Thanks all. And congrats to those who already got the good news!

-I got in with a lower GPA (very low..)..
-My SAT were a bit higher- 650R, 600W, 580M
-I competed in districts for track and earned a Varsity Letter..
-My EC's weren't that good, but I couldn't stay after school alot
-I also have awards in Visual Arts (I think my most prestigious award is being one of 4 finalists in the U.S. Senate's Florida District 4 Congressional Art Competition)
-Unemployed
-No Legacy
-In state

But the things that might have gotten me in are:
-IB Diploma Candidate
--lots of tough courses! my entire senior schedule is IB courses both semesters
--lots of service hours (at least 150 required for IB diploma)
-Minority
-I think the athletic and artsy stuff helped a lot too
-I'm a very good writer (4 on AP Lang, I'm horrible at M/C), and I think my essay was excellent

You can compare with me and see how you fare.. I think I barely got in and only because they were feeling merciful

I would say your chances are 50%. Your grades and ECs look good but your SAT is a bit low. I think if you had done the first round you would have had a 75% chance. If you have any improvement in test scores, grades, awards you should send them in and make contact with admissions to let them know how much you want to be a Nole if that is in fact the case.

I would agree that your chances were better in the first round, and you will just have to wait and see at this point. Make your resume shine, and write an essay that stands out--something about you or a passion that they would not see from your scores. I would get it in ASAP if not in already. And maybe call or email about your interst. If it is feasable, visit during a preview day even before you are accepted and make a personal visit with an appointment and discuss your situation with an admissions counselor. It can't hurt. You have a shot.

Thanks for suggestions and advice....really appreciated.
