According to my BGO I'm about 75% done with the actual app. but I still have to do all of these nomination forms. ahh It's endless!

Just a question for those a little further along in the process. How do you submit the personal statement? On my daughters site it only says "Not Submitted" but there's nothing to click on. She plans on e-mailing her regional director tonight, but I thought I'd see what you all had done.

Second question. She has a CFA completed date (NASS) but would like to redo. How do you do that?

Thanks for any help. She'd (Navy_Hornet) be on here asking questions herself, but she's working right now. I am too, but its kind of slow.

As Darla said it's under the Personal Data Record and until you have your personal statement and Data Record neither will say completed.
I'm redoing my CFA as well, you should contact your BGO and ask him/her. They'll suggest who can do it for you. You can have either someone at a military base do it, your BGO, or a PE/Sports coach do it. My BGO is doing mine.

Excellent! Thanks for the help and quick response. Good thing I asked you before my daughter started asking for help. CC works wonders again.

I think my daughter was going to have her Cross Country/Distance coach help her redo the CFA. She also has to contact the local BGO to set up her interview, so she can check with him on the procedure. I was just curious how you get the paperwork so it can be submitted officially.

Its great to see all of our classmates who have begun all of this complicated application stuff. If you're really commited, these applications will be a breeze!

I heard that DoDMERB contacts you after you have a certain portion of your application done. Is this true? And does anyone know how long we have to take and submit CFA scores? Thanks and nice to see the Class of 2011!!!

We'd heard same. However that is not the case, at least with my son. His information was submitted to DoDMERB immediately upon his attending NASS in June. He scheduled in early July, and completed both this week.

I'M ALMOST DONE Y'ALL!
I got DoDMERB medical over with THIS MORNING. Just BGO interiew in an HOUR and optical on monday. And I'm waiting for my silly english teacher rec. Oh crap and retaking the CFA on Thurs. But hopefully this time next week I'll be D-O-N-E!
All of my teachers are giving all of my recs at the end of August so I can send off all of my nomination applications in then. Gahh this is the most time consuming thing ever.
