Checkin status

when will I be able to do this? I sent in my application last tuesday, but i haven’t received any mail from them

have any one of you been able to check your status?

I received a mailing with my username and password today...it will probably get to you soon...my letter said i'm applying to early decision.....but i'm not! lol i'll have to call the office tomorrow

when did you mail in your application?

late Septemberish?

i talked to my guidance counselor, and he told me, "Don't call them because you'll p-iss them off." I think I should have used online application.

I think you should call the admission office to find out if everything has been received. Two years ago when my son applied to several colleges, many were missing things-one didn't receive the teacher rec, another didn't receive the SAT scores even though we sent them all out at the same time. You should check just to make sure they received whatever u sent. I would give it 1 week-10 days and then call.

i might wait a little longer than that. my confirmation didn't come until about 2-3 weeks after i sent in my forms

are you talking about part 1 or part 2? Confirmation on part 1 came quickly for my son. He sent in his part two about a week ago and hasn't received anything for that. Do they send you something when they have received all the parts of the application?-SAT scores, GC part, teacher recs etc?? My only fear is that if you wait 3 weeks and something is missing-will that affect your ED status or any part of them reveiwing your application? I would hate for them to "put it to the side waiting for something to come" and in the meantime, forgetting about your application entirely.

they will send you a confirmation after you send in parts 1 and 1A....after that, you should just check online with the username and password that they gave you in the first confirmation letter

also, if you are missing a part after the deadline has passed--teacher recs, school transcript, etc--they will send you a letter letting you know that they don't have it
