Checking Application Status Online

They still don't have mine and it's been a month or so, so you're not the only one. I might call them or just wait until they send me a missing documents letter. I don't see how they could have lost it since I sent it online, but they seem to process that part last. Or maybe they're just lagging in updating the online thing.

I sent my app online on January 1 and am yet to recieve the online username and password. Should I call the school and ask about it?

Sure. Won't hurt to ask.
My personal statement is STILL missing.

AUGH zante thats no fun

Yea but I'm not that worried; I figure they just forgot to update...

Hmm...that sounds strange. My personal statement has been missing for the past month and today, it said my app is complete. Your's should be updated soon then. Good luck.

Oh really? I was just about to give up on checking since it always says the same...I'll go check now!

my 1 rec is still missing

i still don't have anything from brown confirming the receipt of my app...

is it time to call?

did you send it by mail or online? They probably wouldn't lose it online but yea call.

And nope, they're still missing my personal statement. I mean, if they were missing a rec I could understand but I sent my app entirely online, so I definitely sent Part II, why don't they have my essay?!

Zante-- you gotta call. Tienes que telefonear. Tu as besoin de telephoner. Hai bisogno di telefonare!!!!!!!!!

I sent it online on Dec. 31. Maybe they've finished with people that sent their apps in before Jan. 1, but since so many came in on the first, they're still updating those people's files.

I don't think telefonear is a word in spanish...at least, not one that's ever used...lol you should stick to french calidan :p

I think it is a word, however borrowed from English. ;)

And heck, around here in California hlaf the billboards are in Spanish. And there's a lot of "borrowing" of words. We don't all learn the perfect, New York City prep school, sparkling Spanish that you do, Zante! :p Just kidding... Do you take Spanish?

EDIT: I just babelfished "telefonear" and it said "to telephone!" I win! Bwahahahahaha. All in good fun, Zante. :)

babelfish isn't real spanish!

And yes I am currently in my 8th year of taking Spanish, thank you very much :p

Oooooohhhh you and your fancy 8th year of NYC Spanish. Well I would be in my 4th year, but a schedule conflict prevented me from continuing with Spanish. So I am stuck with a meager 3 years.

Puedo todavia hablar! :)

Si puedes hablar, por que no dijiste "llamar por telefono"?

I took french for one year and forgot everything already. Except..."ca va" lol

Stop making fun of me for going to private schools. Gee, calidan, is there some resentment you'd like to express towards me? Plus, the first four years were taken at a bad public school...it was essentially four years of spanish I, so I don't think you can say that I took 8 years of fancy nyc spanish. My school's language department isn't even that good...meh

I'd rather go to a private school such as yours and be made fun of than going to a mediocre public school and get screwed in the process.

I'll rescue you! dum dum dummmm

Happy second semester btw! :p

Well.... I actually go to the 2nd best public school in Northern California (not to brag or anything :p), so I'm not that jealous that get to go to a private, because my school is practically a private school.

And I'm just kidding, Zante. The main reason I'm making fun of you is because you live in New York City... and I would like to live there. Although, I do love the Bay Area. :)
