Checking Application Status

<p>I sent in my application on 12/31, but I still haven’t received an email with my log in info to check my application status. Does this mean I didn’t get it in on time, or are they just taking a longer time to process everyone?</p>

<p>I sent in my app a day before yours 12/30. And received multiple emails about my account etc so that is pretty weird. Anyways they did tell me that:</p>

<p>“We are writing to inform you that you will not be able to access your ACData account from Wednesday, January 11 (at 4:30 pm) through Monday, January 16, while the College undertakes an important database conversion. Access to ACData will resume on Tuesday, January 17. Please keep in mind that materials received at our office during that six-day period of database shutdown cannot be entered into your account until the database becomes available again on January 17 and it will then take several days for the backlog of received materials to be entered.”</p>

<p>"In addition, in order to process the large volume of applications received on the January 1 deadline, the Amherst College Office of Admission will be closed entirely or open for only limited hours through Sunday, January 22. More information on hours of operation and contact with the Admission Office during this period is available on our website at <a href=“https://www.amherst.edu/admission/contact/specialofficehours[/url]”>https://www.amherst.edu/admission/contact/specialofficehours&lt;/a&gt; "</p>

<p>So I would go ahead if I were you to check out the special office hours to get in contact with Admissions and try to see why you haven’t received much information.</p>

<p>Yeah, I haven’t gotten one either. Submitted the day before the due date.</p>

<p>Haven’t gotten mine either. They are probably just taking a long time to process everybody, no need to worry! :)</p>
