Can anyone with familiarity with UMass 'check application status' system offer some input?

I've applied for the upcoming spring semester as a transfer student. Based on my conversations with admissions counselors I would most likely be admitted with 68 credits and directly into their CS program, and possibly the honors college (4.0 gpa after 53 credits at a Mass comm college).

Last week I received my 'check application status' letter, but when I do it says that my application is incomplete because I'm missing my application fee and my resume.

Re: application fee - I submitted via the Common App and selected "app fee waiver" as one of the admissions counselor said to do that so that I didn't have to pay. She told me to send her an email when I submitted, which I did, however, I'm confused as to why I'm told my application is incomplete because of that.

Re: resume - this appeared only a couple of days ago. It wasn't originally listed on my application status.

I did call Admissions the day I received the letter and saw that my application was incomplete and she said sometimes the system is inaccurate for a week or so. It's been a week and I'd hate to not get accepted because of an application glitch.

So my questions are: how accurate and up to date is there application status page? and any idea what either of those items could mean?

And I do have to say, at least for transfer students, their application instructions are not very clear on their website. Of all the forms it said I need to do, I was told by an admissions counselor that I only needed 2 of them.

Finally, assuming I get accepted, when would I be notified of scholarships and financial aid?

Thanks so much,
