<p>am i the only one checking every day to see if its changed from "students will be notified march 15 - april 1"? also, does everyone find out on the 15th online, and by the 1st in the mail?</p>
<p>IM SO ANXIOUS. I can't wait any longer.. do we get an e mail saying our decission is avaliable online like we did for EA (i was deferred)???? Or it is JUST mail? AHH this is my dream school!</p>

<p>Are you guys just checking email or are you also checking the application status link? For EA the notifications were posted on the app status link before anyone received email (it was only a matter of hours, but it you're anxious.....)</p>
<p>I asked if all decisions would be up the 15th or if it was going to be a rolling thing. They stated that decisions would start going out on the 15th and continue through april....i can't take it anymore!!!!</p>

<p>How much does NEU look at SAT? Ive heard .. yes of course they look at them but its not a big fatcor because they are looking for all around motivated students? is this true?</p>
<p>yes, but since more people are applying this year than any other year, they're using it as a means to narrow the selection down.</p>

<p>i dunno, my sat scores are "okay" (1130) but everything else is good for me too. i got deferred as well. how "bad" are your scores?</p>
<p>same here- i got deffered ea with an sat score of 1170. i thought my 4.0 gpa would make up for it. i guess ill keep my fingers crossed</p>
<p>Ok well I'm embarassed to say my SAT scores... 1000. It was honestly the best i could do. I took the test 3 times and worked with a private tutor. It doesn't show anything about me nor anyone else. I alreayd gotten into 5 schools with those HORENDOUS scores so I'm hoping colleges don't care AS MUCH as they used to. I know they still do but yeah. 90/100 average UNWEIGHTED!!! </p>
<p>I have really good EC's and reccomendations... those who were deferred did you send letters of interest? I send them a letter saying how much I wanted to go there and I also sent 2 more recs (another from my guidance con. and one from my newspaper advisory)...ahh i'm so freaked out!!! </p>
<p>And there are people that get outright rejected from EA,right? They don't just defer and accept everyone? I can't wait any longer...</p>

<p>this waiting is killing me. i think i've checked my status at least twice a day for the last week. this is my dream school but like I said in another thread 2 people from my school got in EA and about 20 or so more applied...so I'm really worried considering my SATs were about 1030/1620...</p>
<p>Again, Elkir...I feel your pain.. we applied to similar schools. SAT's are only a small part so I was told when I was there. Best of luck, hopefully we'll both get in.</p>
