checking on completion of application materials

Today my kid got an email with instructions about how to electronically check on the completion of the application. Following the instructions exactly, the following response comes back.

"Your request:
There was a problem processing your request:

invalid request:"

Anyone having the same problem or success with this system?

Found the problem and the solution: doesn't work with Firefox, does work with IE.

actually it works on firefox too, just unbold the text

what's that email about? I didn't get it.

My daughter got the email too.
It gives you a way to check on missing application materials.
Hers said she was missing the mid-year report (which is true, that should get there this week before the 2/15 deadline).
But it didn't say that her supplement was missing which was submitted on common app on 12/23 and still has not been downloaded by Pomona.

It gives information about how to track missing application items electronically, but also says they're still filing the mail and that when they're done filing and recording, they'll send out a missing items notification, so don't call or contact them until then, if necessary.

but i dont understand. i applied under ED II and the notification is coming out next week, but they still haven't downloaded my supplement yet. That part really confuses me.

mine isnt downloaded either

I think Pomona is completely messed up. My daughter received an email yesterday that said they were missing her supplement (sent in November), her signature, her school report, and her 7th semester transcript. I called Pomona and a woman who seemed unable to understand me well confirmed that these were, indeed, missing. I contacted several of the other schools my daughter applied to and they seem to have everything. The guidance counselor told me this morning that she sent Pomona's school report way back when, and the transcript about a month ago--along with those sent to other colleges. Curious that only Pomona "hasn't received them." At this point, I'm so disgusted, I think we'll just let it lay. Either they have the sent materials, or they've lost them.

aznblulilgrl - my kid applied RD. I think you should call for clarification.

I also applied ed II and my supplement has yet to be downloaded as well, I find it very odd.

I called yesterday, and the lady told me that they are still downloading applications and putting them together right now, but I don't know how they will find time to read all these applications and make decision by next thur.

yea...pomona must be really behind or something. I checked my application materials. Apparently my school report, school report supplement and transcript are missing. But i guess they already got my midyear report because there's no status on that

i get the exact same message :(

They say my "seventh semester transcript" is missing. I'm not exactly sure what that is. Is that another term for the midyear report?

With the mid-year report the school is suppose to send in your 7th semester (Fall 2006) transcript. My daughter has the same message, so I'm assuming they mean both. Hers were just mailed this week.

Thanks for the prompt reply!:)

spunky

Yes, that is the mid-year report.

My son applied RD and they haven't downloaded his supplement either. He e-mailed admissions about it and a guy e-mailed back saying not to worry; if it was submitted on time, it would be counted as on time, no matter when they downloaded it.

This is the only one of son's 10 colleges that hasn't downloaded his supplement and sent an "all complete" message. I wonder if they're having an unexpectedly huge batch of applicants (like everyone else).

that is discouraging.

Yes, that's what it is. ... Spunky, at least they're only "missing" your transcript. They informed my daughter that she's missing several important things. I know it's a mess-up on their end, because her file is complete at all of her other schools.
