Checkmarq

Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble logging in to checkmarq and marquette email? I've typed in my username/password correctly but everytime I press login it takes me to the page with the blue background that says I have an invalid username or password. I have reset my password and it still doesn't work. I saw that they were going to update checkmarq but that hasn't started yet. If I am the only one not able to access checkmarq it must be because MU didn't get my tuition deposit. I hope that isn't the case because I have already withdrawn my applications to other schools.

Hi, Savannah. I asked my daughter about this because I had a vague memory of her saying she was having trouble with Checkmarq as well. First of all, she says don't sweat about your tuition deposit -- checkmarq has nothing to do with that; she was able to be on checkmarq long before she sent in her deposit. She says you need to locate the piece of mail that Marquette sent you when you first applied that had your original username and password for checkmarq. Her problem was that she kept putting in her username incorrectly; she says you have to put it in exactly as it appears there. She had inadvertently copied it wrong and that was her problem. Otherwise, call the tech help desk at Marquette on Tuesday. But don't worry about your deposit! Good luck.

I checked to see if my username was correct and it is. I sent an email to IT help desk about it so hopefully the problem will be fixed Tuesday. Thanks for your help.

It doesn't work for me either. My password was reset like 20 times and I still can't login. I'm starting to get worried too because my mom didn't send in my tuition deposit until May 2. It was 1 day late on the deadline but my mom said it wouldn't matter because I'm not going to live on campus and that the deadline was important just for making sure that people who are going to live in the dorms get the dorm they requested. Was she wrong? I'm thinking that if I can't access checkmarq anymore that means that I'm no longer a future student at Marquette and they have removed my account. I still haven't received my Next Step information and I haven't gotten any emails, calls, or mail from Marquette since early April. What's going on? If I call the Admissions office would they be able to tell me if I am still a student?

Jrzy: Like dbwes wrote, you should use the username & password that Marquette mailed you a few months ago. I tried that and I was able to login again. But I still can't get into emarq right now.
