Checkoff List

Does anybody know what freshmen need to complete or do before they start school aside from moving in and buying their textbooks. I can only think of three things at the moment

Meet Hep. B Requirement

Student Insurance

AlcoholEdu

What am I forgetting to do?

pay tuition/housing?

Did we get any confirmation thingy (email, letter, etc) about meeting the hep requirement? I did it a long time ago and don't remember...

Yes, I received an email entitled "Your Hepatitis B Immunization Requirement Status" with confirmation number.

thanks emmmmmme...

i'll go dig it up

Quick question about student health insurance, I want to get USHIP so do I sign up for it or is it already charged to my account?

SHIP is automatic. You only have to take action if you don't want it.

how do we know if they received our bruin direct authorization form?

You call (310) 825-2201 and wait for a ridiculously long time after pressing extension number "2."

do you talk to a live person or does it just tell you

I talk to an actual live person.

I think someone has told me to press option 8 instead. I suppose you could try that first.

dang I still need to send in my bruin card info/picture...

^^^ ...you might wanna get on that...asap

Course it would be faster just to show up at the Bruin Card office and get one made right away. Takes about 5 minutes depending on the amount of people who are there.
