chem 14 vs 20/30

I keep hearing that Chem 20/30 series is much harder than the 14 series. If so, how much harder is it?

I'm a phy sci major. I want to a solid foundation in chem but I can't afford to have something be too difficult or time-consuming. Which series should I take?

addendum: does this apply towards all life science vs. physical science / engineering series if true? (swift's remark about difficulty)

the 14 series is geared more toward the life sciences and doesn't go into as much detail in certain subjects as the 20/30 series do. I would guess that the same applies regarding the physics 6 and 1 series as well...

its mostly the same material, but i think the 20/30 series goes more in depth ochem as well as a few other areas. 14 series is just 14a, 14b, 14bl, 14c, 14cl, 14d. 20/30 is: 20a, 20b, 20l, 30a, 30al, 30b, 30bl, 30c, 30cl.

14c and d are ochem, while 30a, 30b, and 30c are ochem.

14 series is DEFINATELY easier than the other series. The 14 series goes into less depth/theory and is more problem solving based. The other series is more theoretical and abstract (from what I've heard)
